Caran d’Ache + Paul SMITH Iconic 849 Pen – Vol. IV

When internationally renowned British designer Sir Paul Smith met Swiss creative experts Caran d’Ache – a marriage of two great brands came together, resulting in a longstanding and meaningful partnership. The latest iteration of the partnership is the result of the mutual admiration both brands have for each other, a collection of Caran d’Ache favourites, reimagined with the trademark Paul Smith design touch.

This year, for their 4th edition, the two companies decided to pay tribute to the designer’s unexpected combinations – creating six, two-toned Caran d’Ache 849 ballpoint pens. The pens echo Paul Smith’s detailed suit linings and top stitching’s seen on his shirts. The beautiful colour contrasts are a staple of the designer’s touch and are a key component in the pens, creating a graphic look that reinterprets Smith’s famous stripes. The pairing of colours have been carefully selected to create sharp, unexpected, and even soft contrasts, enticing the delight aficionados.

The portable and reusable cases carry the gold-plated signature of ‘Caran d’Ache + Paul Smith’ – the seal of a timeless and special collection.
