Greeting Card – Wren

The wren is “The King of the Birds”. This fable probably comes from Greek mythology, but it’s origins are a bit misty. A competition to be king of the birds was set. He who could fly the highest would be crowned. The eagle, was expected to win, he soared high above the other birds and appeared to be the clear winner, until the wren emerged from under his feathers and flew higher still to claim the crown.
