Kyo-no-oto No. 03 Kokeiro – Kyoto Ink

£19.50

The depth of taste of old mossy trees and garden stones is often found in gardens in Kyoto. It is a symbol of Wabi-Sabi’s aesthetic sense, and the moss colour that emerges from it shows a glimpse of Kyoto culture.

“Kyo no oto” is a series of writing inks that reproduce traditional Japanese colours used since the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations.  Each colour is characterized by a unique name and story.
