Kyo-no-oto No. 05 Aonibi – Kyoto Ink

The moon floating in the blue dull sky. A town in Kyoto quietly moonlighted. Blue blunt refers to dullness with blue colour, and it is a colour with indigo added to light ink. The colour of the deep and pale night sky expresses a dignified air.

“Kyo no oto” is a series of writing inks that reproduce traditional Japanese colours used since the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations.  Each colour is characterized by a unique name and story.
